Meet our Executive Team

ARC Dialysis is the largest provider of outpatient dialysis in South Florida. We are dedicated to giving patients a better quality of life through our expertise and commitment to excellence.

Our clinicians work together as one team with one goal: to provide care that exceeds patients’ expectations while maintaining superior clinical outcomes.

Fred is the founder and a shareholder of AmeriCare Renal Center, Apollo Renal Center Miami, and Olympus Healthcare and currently serves as its CEO. He graduated with a Medical Doctor degree from Universidad Central del Este in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic in 1986. Fred’s introduction into the dialysis industry began in 1978 at age sixteen as a dialysis patient care technician and throughout the years he has been responsible for the opening and development of numerous de novo dialysis clinics as well successfully negotiating and establishing dozens of inpatient acute dialysis and skilled nursing facilities contracts throughout the State of Florida.
   






Carlos J. Gonzalez is the President of AmeriCare Renal Center, Apollo Renal Center Miami, and Olympus Healthcare now Virtus RenALL Solution Network, LLC. Mr. Gonzalez was accredited with a degree in Finance from Florida International University in 2008, and has earned his real estate license in the State of Florida. Mr. Gonzalez began his career at an early age, finding much success in real estate ventures and was awarded the South Florida Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the year award in 2013. Mr. Gonzalez founded a local Renal Facility, gathering a team of experienced Healthcare professionals to ensure quality dialysis treatments to all patients suffering from End Stage Renal Disease. Mr. Gonzalez continues to hold a pivotal role in the strategic planning and success in Virtus, ARC, AmeriCare Renal Center, and Olympus business ventures.
   


As the Vice President of Operations for ARC Dialysis Raul’s main focus has always been on the patient. With a passion for the medical industry and renal care Raul strives to make a difference. Raul holds a degree in business as well as a Masters in Science of Nursing with over 20 years of dialysis experience. In 2008 Raul was promoted to Director of Operations and spearheaded the restructuring of the Acute care program. After successful launches of University of Miami and Jackson Health system Raul was promoted to Vice President of Operations.
   







Chris has been with the company since 2011. He started as a part time employee in materials management at Americare Renal Center, while finishing his Bachelors of Science at Florida International University. In 2015, he resumed his studies to acquire his Master’s in Business Administration at Florida International University. Upon his graduation from his MBA he became the head of the department of purchasing and logistics. With his experience he has been able to negotiate great deals and pricing from vendors for the company. In 2016, he took on a new role as an administrator for one of the company’s clinics. In 2017, Chris also became the director of billing for the company. He was able to streamline the company’s billing process, while at the same time cutting costs. In January 2021, Chris took on his latest role as Regional Operations Director. Chris looks forward to the company’s continued growth as well as his own professional development.
   

Started with ARC in September of 2009, Jon is an experienced Senior Director of Operations responsible for clinical, and financial operations for ARC. Jon was a registered nurse for 27 years with the last 20 years focused on dialysis. Jon has a demonstrated history of ensuring patient safety and satisfaction while promoting a high quality of healthcare. Creative and successful at ensuring clinical policies, procedures and strategic planning for ARC.
   



Kenia joined ARC Dialysis in 2019 as an experienced, results-focused leader of the Revenue Cycle services. She is dedicated to integrity and accuracy in medical coding, the billing process, cash posting/reconciliation, collections for medical practices and analytic reporting, with extensive experience in the medical field. Her track record has shown success in process improvement, support of sustainable goals and patient safety and satisfaction. Kenia has 20 years of healthcare experience in Compliance, Privacy and Security and Revenue Cycle Management.
   

Nury, the Director of Quality and Education has many years of experience working in the healthcare industry. She began working in dialysis with one of ARC’s founding fathers and throughout her lifetime she has worked towards improving the life of the renal failure patients. She earned her BSN from the University of Miami and went on to obtain an MSN and MBA focusing on Healthcare Management. Throughout her career, Nury has made it her mission to educate others about the specialized care required by patients experiencing kidney disease. Her experience includes working with acute and chronic patients as well as working as a disease case manager all in the effort of improving the quality of care for renal patients. She is passionate about education and has created training programs for both healthcare providers and patients. Nury is certified in nephrology nursing (CNN) and is a current member of the American Nephrology Association (ANNA) in which she has previously held officer positions in the local chapter.
   

Maggie Freeman, the Clinical Coordinator and Assistant DON has many years of experience working in dialysis and ICU settings.

She began working in dialysis in 1989 with one of the largest dialysis providers in the nation and joined the ARC team in 2017 as a Charge Nurse. She earned her BS from Barry University and her RN degree from Miami Dade College. Throughout her career, Maggie has worked with acute, chronic and PD patients experiencing kidney disease to improve their quality of life and overall well-being. She is passionate about providing holistic care to each dialysis patient and being a preceptor to nurses and dialysis technicians. Maggie was awarded RN of the year in 2018.
